Refluxiv is a preparation containing 4 active ingredients to support people struggling with gastric hyperacidity and heartburn.

• Magnesium carbonate reacts on contact with stomach acid to form carbon dioxide, water and magnesium chloride. This reaction reduces the acidity in the stomach, which can help relieve symptoms of heartburn or indigestion. In addition, this compound includes 25.5% magnesium, which can additionally help meet the daily requirement for this element.
• Mastika is the resin of the pistachio tree that has traditionally been used as a remedy for oral and digestive diseases. There is some scientific evidence to suggest that mastic may have antibacterial properties and inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori, the bacterium responsible for many cases of ulcers and gastritis. In addition, mastika is known for its breath-freshening effect!
• European olive contains polyphenols such as oleuropein, which have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies suggest that olive extract may help reduce the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease by reducing the concentration of hydrochloric acid in the stomach and improving the functioning of the lower esophageal sphincter. The European olive extract contained in the preparation is standardized to 40% oleuropein.
• Opuntia is rich in fiber and polyphenols that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Studies show that it can help reduce the amount of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, thereby relieving the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
